Yosemite Server Backup Editions
There are four levels of Yosemite Server Backup to meet the needs of any size organization.
- Yosemite Server Backup is a low-cost entry into the Yosemite Server Backup product family, licensed to support a single Windows or Linux server.
- Yosemite Server Backup +DR is designed for a single Windows or Linux server and includes support for Disaster Recovery
- Yosemite Server Backup Plus offers support for small server farms, with support for up to 3 servers. Advanced agents for Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Exchange, and Bare Metal Disaster Recovery are included.
- Yosemite Backup Unlimited is designed for enterprises. With no per server or per option fees, Yosemite Backup Unlimited is the most affordable enterprise-class backup solution available today.
A product license is required for each separate Domain.

Feature Details
Bare Metal Disaster Recovery. Enables a one-step restoration of a complete system (operating system, applications, user data, and system state) directly from backup media or over the network.
Microsoft Exchange Agent. Enables "hot backup" of Microsoft Exchange while online. Performs full and incremental backups and offers granularity of selection to individual storage groups, and information stores, and individual mailboxes. Automatically purges log files following backup. Supports Microsoft Exchange 2000 and higher for backup and restore.
Microsoft SQL Server Agent. Enables "hot backup" of Microsoft SQL Server while online. Performs full and incremental backups and offers granularity of selection to individual databases. Automatically truncates transaction logs following backup. Supports Microsoft SQL Server 7 and higher for backup and restore.
Microsoft Hyper-V Agent. Enables "hot backup" of Microsoft Hyper-V Guests.
VMware ESX Agent. Enables "hot backup" of VMware ESX Guests.
Disk to Disk to Any (D2D2NE). Integrated virtual archive architecture abstracts archive data from the physical media. Facilitates easy staging of backups across tiered backup hierarchies over the network. Least Recently Used (LRU) policies can automatically move lower priority data to the next storage tier (e.g., from disk to optical media or tape.) Replication policies can automatically maintain redundant archives which can be taken to an offsite location for later use in disaster recovery. Secure erase technologies ensure that data moved to next storage tier can be completely eliminated.
Tape Library Expansion. Provides integrated support for multiple drives in robotic tape library systems.
