Files can be protected based upon a combination of location and file extension.

Defining the files to protect consists of selecting the location of the files and what types of files to include or exclude from those locations.

Allows for self-service recovery directly from the OS. Files can be previewed before being recovered and can be recovered to an alternate location.

Configure location where protected files are to be stored. The term for this location is a Data Vault.

Policies -> File Protection
Controls for determining which files are to be protected. File Protection Policies are defined based on file extension.

Policies -> Administrative Policies
Controls for delegating user control and user experience. Control over functionality can be delegated to users or reserved for Administrators.

Reports -> Data Vault Usage
Lists reports to show activity. Various reports can be run to give an accounting of activity.
